Roses in May

A beautiful, sunny Friday afternoon in Dusseldorf…you can tell we’re in May…roses are blooming everywhere. This is my favorite one, a slightly peppery scent, which makes my wait for the tram so pleasant every morning…

Lunch catch-up at 4pm with a carrot and ginger soup at my favorite café in our street…P1210867

…and a re-read of “Tod auf der Warteliste” (“Morte in lista d’attesa”) by Veit Heinichen. I could believe I am overlooking the Golfo di Trieste, with this nice breeze and the sun…
