P1180505I keep on writing Christmas cards. And cards in general. Not so much for birthdays, no. I write when I have something to share, independently of the date. Pity that I do not get so many postcards or Christmas cards. My mum is a great postcard writer. When I see a nice landscape in my mailbox it’s from her. Then there are the business acquaintaincies. Courtesy Christmas cards, I do like them. Especially my French contacts, they do go the extra mile to write something meaningful on the card, not just the odd signature with a business card tossed in the middle of the folded gilded paper. My friend Claudia she too, she is a keen paper friend. The first card of the year came from her (mit Gufini). Actually that was also the only one, now that I think of it.

My neat stack of cards is ready to go. With nice Deutsche Post stamps on them. What a nice feeling to slide the little pack in the yellow postbox.
