Train junkies/5

P1180229Ok…we are the ones who spent basically one year chasing every night Michael Portillo’s Great British Railway Journeys on BBC4. At the time Yorkshire was a theoretical idea, and a place where some funny dogs come from.

So, to York!

Last Saturday we profited of the gloomy rainy weather for reaching beautiful York…the Downton Abbey’s “big city”. And its National Railway Museum. I wished that my cousin Stefano and his family would have been with us, them being absolute train junkies too! Fabulous, that a National museum exists on such a technologic and economic game-changer…
