now, get smarter

With the referendum Italians gave a clear direction in energy policy. Now we should get down to work and re-direct those funds initially intended for the nuclar sector for renewables but most of all for the smart grid.

Without smart grid there’s no way to implement successfully a geographically-dispersed energy production, be it from wind, solar or geothermical power.

Today in Rome there is an important Smart Grid Forum. Hopefully Italy will reap the benefits of being ahead of the curve on smart metering (we’re world leaders in that sector!) and be a real kick starter at the European level of a new energy policy. We will see. MeinMann is participating and will tell me about it…:)

    I’m fully supporting this solution…I should check if they need for an engineer 😛

    yeah but it looks like we’re not going to be ready not even for the next ice age if things keep on progressing at this snail pace…
