Each time I travelled to Amsterdam I had a quick stop over in Spui to browse books. I splurged on real books also this time, especially on Amsterdam architecture and the Delta Project. That will help planning future trips to the Netherlands. But I could not resist, for the cosy Lloyd Hotel moments, to acquire “Grace – a memoir” by Grace Coddington. Utterly pleasant to read…and no, I would never give up on its paper beauty and read it on iPad or Kindle. I love real books.
true, but the question I ask myself is: where to keep them now that we – I mean our generation – generally live in such small flats??? Sell it? No way!

L’altro problema dei libri è la polvere, non ci si salva dalla polvere se non mettendoli tutti dentro delle vetrine, ma è impossibile..
