We have explored countless times stretches of the Berlin Wall. Yesterday we ventured to discover another long German wall, more familiar to us: the Roman Limes, where the Wied rivers joins the Rhine, in the surroundings of Wied. It was a fast blitz, we still need to organise a proper investigation.
Still, it was a nice feeling to see hills and wineyards. It felt “so South” all of a sudden! A fabulous stretch for all “Kurven” lovers.
